THE BIKES - AT MOTOFIESTA WE USE 2005 KTM EXC 400’s

I have been riding for the past 20+ years and I have had the experience of riding most of today’s enduro/trail bikes. I have found the KTM EXC 400’s are by far the most pleasurable bikes for the job. They are light and have plenty of power when it is needed. They have excellent handling and come with the famous KTM quality and reliability.

THE TRAILS - Our province has every type of terrain to test your level of skill and ability. We will be mostly riding in the area known as THE ALTO TURIA where there are many rallies and enduro’s held annually by the locals. You will be riding through stoney riverbeds, pine forests and small villages (where people greet you with a smile), which all lead up into the beautiful mountain ranges that surround you. The amount of kilometers we cover each day varies between 125/250 (depending on riders ability). We cater for both novice and advanced riders and aim to give all a holiday to remember.

SUMMARY - Upon your arrival at MOTOFIESTA no time is wasted. You will be shown to your accommodation and then there will be a short briefing on our terms and conditions. You will then be designated a bike and any alterations to bars, levers etc will be made. Any riding kit needed will also be made available. For those arriving before midday half -day rides are possible.

The day normally starts around 9am with a choice of full English or Continental Breakfast. Once kitted up we are straight out onto a few easy trails for you to familiarize yourselves with the bike. We then head up into the mountains where we will stop for a coffee break at around 11.30am. Then back onto the trails until around 2.30pm when we will have lunch in a local restaurant/bar. After a refreshing break we will take in some more breathtaking Spanish scenery and we will aim to return to the MOTOFIESTA base at around 6pm. When you are back you can choose whether to stay at MOTOFIESTA for the evening (evening meals are available upon request), or to venture out to one of the surrounding villages to sample one of the many local restaurants. And for those who haven’t had enough thrills on the dirt, they can go into Valencia City itself.
